Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), people's lives have been threatened, and their mental health has also been adversely affected. A large amount of evidence shows that mindfulness has a significant effect on coping with psychological stress and emotional distress, indicating its potential role in promoting physical and mental recovery during the epidemic. This guidance is about how mindfulness is applied to the physical and mental recovery of various populations during the epidemic. It provides explicit explanations of the definitions, psychological mechanisms, practice points, requirements for the instructors, applicable populations and scenarios, and precautions in terms of mindfulness intervention. It is our hope that the guidance can improve the scientificity, standardization, and effectiveness of mindfulness intervention during this period, leading to better applications of mindfulness intervention for the individual's physical and mental recovery.

Objective:To understand the characteristics and conditions of the stress response of the public under the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) epidemic, and to provide relevant suggestions to improve mental health services.
Methods:The number of hotline calls by the Shanghai volunteer team supporting Hubei was statistically analyzed, and the text records of the team telephone consultation were qualitatively analyzed for the exploration of the complaints and request of a call, common psychological reactions, and coping styles.
Results:From February 4 to March 8, 2020, there was a total of 1082 hotline connections. The main motivations of calling for help were different kinds of stress reactions and dilemmas caused by COVID-19, accounting for 49.60% of the calls recorded in the text, among which anxiety reaction accounted for the largest proportion, accounting for 56.12% of all emotional reactions. People living in neighborhoods more heavily affected by COVID-19, family members infected or family members died of the infection, or people at high risk of exposure had heavier and more complex stress reactions. In the early stage of the epidemic, people worried mainly about fear of infection. With the continuation of home quarantine and the gradual control of the epidemic, the fear of infection has improved, and the side effects of long-time home quarantine, such as emotional distress and economic pressure, began to increase.
Conclusion:The epidemic has an important impact on people's life and mental health, and some targeted interventions are needed both during and after the outbreak.

Objective:The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship of attachment representation and perceived social support in college students, and the role of co-rumination in it.
Methods:Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory (ECR), Co-rumination Questionnaire (CRQ), and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS) were conducted to 568 college students. Harman's single factor test was performed on all items in the questionnaire. SPSS 22.0 was used for multiple imputation, Harman single factor test, descriptive statistical analyze and correlation coefficient between variables. AMOS 22.0 structural equation model was used to analyse the mediating effect of co-rumination between attachment representation and perceived social support. Take attachment anxiety, attachment avoidance and co-rumination as the manifest variables, take perceived social support as the latent variable, and take gender and age as the control variables.
Results:Attachment anxiety was positively correlated with co-rumination (r = 0.29, p < 0.01). Attachment avoidance was negatively correlated with co-rumination and perceived social support (rattachment avoidance- co-rumination = -0.11, p < 0.05; rattachment avoidance-perceived social support = -0.29, p < 0.01). Co-rumination and perceived social support were positively correlated (r = 0.11, p < 0.05). The analysis of mediating effects showed that co-rumination served as a complete mediator in the relationship between attachment anxiety and perceived social support, but did not mediate the relationship between attachment avoidance and perceived social support.
Conclusion:As attachment representation is related to co-rumination, college students with attachment anxiety could feel perceived social support through co-rumination.

Social support is beneficial to the promotion of the adaptation of positive coping strategies among people. Meanwhile, it can also promote prosocial behaviors. However, the influence mechanism between the social support of prisoners and the prosocial behavior tendency is unclear. For this reason, the aim of this study is to examine the relationship between social support and prosocial behavior among prisoners under the influence of hope and coping style. A total of 309 prisoners were recruited and surveyed using the Social Support Scale (Prisoner's Edition), the Trait Coping Style Questionnaire (TCSQ), the Adult Dispositional Hope Scale (ADHS), and the Prosocial Tendencies Measure (PTM). The results show that: (1) social support was positively correlated with positive and low coping styles, hope, and prosocial behavior tendency scores. Positive coping styles, hope, and prosocial behavior tendencies scores were moderately and positively correlated. Negative coping style and low negative correlation between variables; (2) prisoners' social support positively predicted prosocial behavioral tendencies with significance; (3) social support of prisoners indirectly affected prosocial behavioral tendencies using coping style and hope as serial multiple mediators. The study results suggest that the social support of prisoners can directly or indirectly promote prosocial behavioral tendencies, which has implications for the reform of prison management and prisoners so as to helping prisoners strengthen their ability to reintegrate into society and reduce recidivism rates.

Psychosocial factors have been thought to be associated with abnormal metabolism of glucose, lipid, and uric acid, and to affect the normal intestinal flora as well. In addition, these factors play an important role in the etiology and development of cardiovascular diseases. Management of psychosocial stress factors will be helpful in preventing metabolic disorders and cardiovascular diseases. Currently, some progress have been made in quantifying the association between the psychosocial factors and metabolic disturbances of glucose, lipid, uric acid and intestinal flora. This review summarizes the relationship between psychosocial factors and abnormal metabolism of glucose, lipid, uric acid and intestinal flora, and their potential mechanism.

The sense of Self and Other is essential for the child`s development. The child needs the internal capacity, opportunity and the integrative ability and the existence of a parallel, complementary process that must occur with the Core Other. This includes an active awareness of an organized experience of Self with Other. If this experience does not succeed, the child develops a deep unconscious shame that grips the entire person. Psychotherapist has to face this and to also respond. He should offer an existencial verbal and nonverbal resonance at the same time. This helps to establish and to bodily ground the Core Self as Daniel Stern named it in the therapy relationship.
